Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Larkana (Biselrk) was established in 1995. It was constituted as a result of bifurcation of Bise Sukkur. The Governor Sindh / Controlling Authority of all Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education in Sindh was pleased to amend the Education Ordinance 1972, as a result of which powers were conferred to this Board to conduct, regulate and control the Intermediate and Secondary School examinations. Initially it had a jurisdiction of three districts which were Larkana, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, with the passage of time a few more districts were added in it, namely Mehar and Khairpur Nathan Shah. It has adjacent boundaries in South with Hyderabad division, in Wast with Sukkur division and in North and West with Balochistan division.
Bise Gujranwala which is well known as Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Gujranwala has already announced the matric part 2 result on 25th July. This year 9th Class Result will be announced on 21st August on official website of board. Students can check their bise Gujranwala 9th class result with the help of roll number on the result date. The spokesman of the board has confirmed that inter part 2 result 2013 will be declared on 22nd September.
With a team of four officers and five officials who were transferred permanently from Sukkur Board, Mr. Ali Nawaz took the responsibilities as the first chairman of this educational body. Initially there was not any building available for the set up, so official workings were started in the building of the office of Superintendent Engineer Irrigation Department, later on two two buildings were hired in the Ghalib Nagar, which had 9 rooms. The examination wing was established in one house while the administration wing was created in the other house. Due to the tremendous increase in the candidature, this space was not enough, so finally after moving in several different buildings a 21.0 acres measuring plot located at Deh Dodai at Ratodero Road Larkana, was purchased where the current official building of the Board is situated.
The Intermediate examination in Pakistan is divided into two year program, named as part 1 and 2. The papers of which are generally commenced in the months of May and June. In Punjab the authorities have introduced the facility of delivering roll no slips through mobile units located at different locations in cities. Soon such services are considered to become common in every board. Date Sheet of papers with rules and regulations is usually dispatches one month before the papers begin. The result of 2nd and first year are commonly announced by board in the months of August and September respectively.
