Bise Sukkur is functioning in the Province of Sindh and is well known as Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Sukkur, it was established on October 8, 1979 under the provision of the Ordinance. Initially there was not any premises available for the official workings of the board so a temporary set up was created in a portion of A.B.D Law College. Later on all the administration set up was moved to a rented bungalows situated in Muslim Housing Society at Military Road. Board was able to occupy it’s own present building in year 1985.
Presently the territorial jurisdiction of the Board are confined to the districts of Sukkur, Ghotki, Khairpur, Naudhahro Feroze and Taluka Daulatpur of Nawabshah. It is responsible to develop, organize, control and regulate the matriculation and intermediate examinations in the said districts. The authorities are working hard and introducing new services and facilities for the candidates. The aim of this educational body is to enlighten the thinking of students with the light of knowledge, so they can play a positive role in the nation building and thus can survive in this competitive era.
In Pakistan Matriculation examination is comprises of two parts, commonly known as 9th and 10th class. It is also known as SSc as in it Secondary School Certificates are awarded to all the successful candidates. Tenth class papers are commenced in March, while the ninth class examination is usually held in April. Authorities issues the date sheet of all examinations at least one month before the exam. Board generally announces the matric result in the end of July or start of August.
