Bise (Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education) Rawalpindi was established in October 1977, as a result of division of Bise Sargodha under Punjab Boards of Intermediate & Secondary Education Act No. XIII of 1976. There are now total nine educational board working in the province of Punjab, Bise Sahiwal being the most latest one, it was established in 2012. Rawalpindi Board has opened an IT based window to deliver it’s services to the public online. Now students can download their roll number slips, date sheets and model papers from official website of the board which is www.biserwp.edu.pk. Students are advised to keep in touch with this site to know about the updated courses, rules and regulations regarding the paper pattern etc.
Dr. Muhammad Jawwad Haider Shirazi is the present Chairman of the Board. Dr. Muhammad Jawwad Haider Shirazi and Javed Masood Bhatti are performing their duties as secretary and controller examination respectively. It’s board office is located at BISE Campus, Morgah, Rawalpindi. The jurisdiction of this board has been confined too the districts of Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum and Rawalpindi Civil Division.
PEC stands for Punjab Examination Commission (sometimes it is also pronounced as Punjab Education Commission) was established in 2005 to give better learning environment to the grade 8th students. Since then it is the duty of this educational governing body to provide fair, unbiased healthy learning environment to the elementary level students. It also have a mission to provide services to improve the students learning and polish their talent, skills and abilities of learning.
Pec.edu.pk is the official website of Punjab Examination Commission from where students can get all the important information regarding registration, date sheets, roll number slips etc. It has created it’s offices in 36 districts of Punjab. Where related Edos and other officers are available to assist the students and resolve their issues. This year the last date for 8th class registration was 10 October.
